Re: RFT T-63 connected to twitter
Hi Vladimir,
good project. I would like to integrade this to my project, if possible.
I used an Arduino, but after a while TWITTER changed ist API and the libraries didn't work anymore.... maybe this changed in between.
Do you have a discription of your project in english ... and how did you build your project ?
Best regards
Frank

Re: RFT T-63 connected to twitter
Hi guys!
First I would like to apologize to the i-telex.net owners. Looks like I'm trying to advertise and sell our teletype product here. It's not true. Actually old heavy-duty tele-machines is my hobby. In "other life" I'm doing IoTing and mobile apps.
The idea behind this clip is a bit more complicated than just a program for "Arduino". Very simple program for mbed LPC1768 which controls teletype and communicates with IoT-cloud using MQTT protocol. Cloud has MQTT-Twitter gateway. Should say that we had A LOT of problems with mbed Ethernet and MQTT implementations.
BTW Tape reader and dialer are coming soon. Also Russian telegraf machine is expected to come before NY. Just a hobby. As I said))
Good luck.

Re: RFT T-63 connected to twitter
Hi Vladimir,
I did not think you wanted to sell anything - but I'm curious how you did that. Unfortunately I cant read russian, so I asked.
Your solution is better then others that I saw which merely dumped a Twitter-feed to paper (easy, I've done that.).
Your's is interactive - that's a different thing.
From what you asked you I got the Impression that you wanted to use an old telex machine as part of your hobby,
as I-Telex is. So I was glad to get a glimpse to what others do with teletypes.
Regards
