Seeing as there is quite an English following building up here now, I thought I had better join my fellow countrymen in machine choice.

So, please welcome the newest addition to the team - A Creed 444.

It is just a bit heavy!

I shall need to figure out what I need to do to make it work now - But not on I-Telex just yet - will get the machine running smoothly locally - looks like it needs a good service!

I shall need to find a manual. but that will probably be far easier than getting one for the FS220

Nice.
The Creed 444 has the same' mother' as the Lorenz Lo133, but all is designed
double current operation, even the receiver magnet section.

Guess your machine also has got this multi pin connector?

Hi Henning,

Yes, this machine has the nasty modern D type connector.

Alf has built a converter for single current operation - I will talk to him to find out how this is done.

I think after some service work it should be a working machine - for now I need to source some connectors to apply mains and signals - this will keep me busy for a little while

I decided to spend an hour on the 444 tonight.

Motor runs, this is good, rig up a local loop circuit, and machine starts clanking away merrily

But, no operation from the keyboard.

I think I have found the cause of the problem - See picture......

So, I now need to find spare parts - this will be difficult I think!

I will have a look if it is the same as Lo133.
I have two Lo133 parts donators and hopefully can help you.
A photo where it is located in the machine might be helpful.

Hi Henning - This is the transmitter unit drive gear (Creed P/No 4418/10A Transmitter Gear CP)

I have locked up the workshop for the evening, but will take some more pictures tomorrow evening.
