在Mr. Treumann不厌其烦地帮助下，TW39PUUS 终于和T1000联通了！
失败的原因是：
1、主控电路板上的模式默认设置为“点对点”，而应更改为“交换机”模式；
2、通讯接口电路板的模式默认设置为“单流”，而应更改为“单流三态”模式。

Thanks to Mr.Treumann's tireless efforts, TW39PUUS has finally been connected to T1000!
The reason for the failure is:
1、The mode on the master board is set to "point-to-point" by default, but should be changed to "switch" mode.
2、The mode of the communication interface circuit board is set to "single flow" by default, but should be changed to "single flow three-state" mode.

Hello Hua,

I'll try to give you a short answer to your questions.
1. The TW39 board connects your teleprinter to the i-Telex system. (i-Telex is a modular system, there are also boards for other connections, e.g. ED1000)
2. The LED lights of each interface indicate different states of the interface. You will find a detailed descrition in the link below.
3. The button of each interface has different functions. (e.g. setup, enable, disable) Please see link below.
4. Your board has two equal interfaces. On each interface you can connect a teleprinter. Yes, if you have connected two teleprinters, they can communicate to each other internally. (without internet)
5. Yes, see 4.

In the following link there is a detailed description of the i-Telex system. Unfortunatelly it's only in German available. Please use a translator. If you have troubles in understanding something, please ask again. Don't worry!

Regarding you issue with the teleprinter I have an idea. I have also a T1000 with TW39 interface. I could not test it on the i-Telex today but I did some tests with a telepringer tester. I could generate some weird behaviour.

I assume, that your teleprinter is connected with wrong polarity. Can you try to change the wires in the terminal A14 / A18 and test again?

这次应该是成功了！
长按TW69上面的小黑色的按钮后， 电传机（中国版的型号叫TGG-646A）没有反应，还必须按电传机的“联机”，电传机才能开始打印。导致这种不能自动联机的原因找到：通讯接口电路板（相当于AEL11，但差别很大的，中国版的型号JKB-1）有问题！连续换了三块，才正常工作了（附件中有视频）。也不知电路板上哪个元件出了问题（等有空的时候再修这块电路板）。

后来找了一台早期的T1000（中国版的型号也是T1000，通讯接口板是AEL11），按图中的设置，也能正常工作（附件中也有此机视频）！但我这台只支持中国的5位电报码，所能打印结果是不一样的（视频中我按数字键“5”，相当于5位国际电报码的“.”）。不知道怎么设成5位国际电报码。

This time, it should be a success!
After pressing the small black button on the TW69, the teletypewriter (model TGG-646A in the Chinese version) didn't respond; we had to press the teletypewriter's 'Online' button for it to start printing. The cause of this inability to auto-connect was found: the communication interface circuit board (equivalent to AEL11 but with significant differences, model JKB-1 for the Chinese version) was faulty! We replaced three of them consecutively before it worked properly (there's a video in the attachment). I don't know which component on the circuit board was the issue (I'll repair this circuit board when I have time).
Later, I found an early T1000 (also model T1000 in the Chinese version, with AEL11 communication interface board). With the settings as shown in the diagram, it also worked normally (there's a video of this machine in the attachment too)! But my unit only supports China's 5-digit telegraph code, so the printing results are different (in the video, when I press the number key '5', it corresponds to the '.' in 5-digit international telegraph code). I don't know how to set it to 5-digit international telegraph code.
After two days of repeated repairs, it's really frustrating!

GREAT ! Finally succes!
You seem to have a great stock of machines and parts.... :-)
But I am quite sure that there is just a fault in configuration or wiring of the board. Don't think it is really
faulty. Compare it with the working board.
I would think that it might be also possible to switch to ITA2 alphabet of the early model.
Maybe you will find some manual or instructions in the future.

Are your machines equipped with answerback units (Here is)?
If yes, it would be nice to use the old number of the machine also in i-Telex network as a kind of history.
Otherweise we would need to "create" a new number. Maybe something related to your own history...?
I have an old international Telex directory from 1990 where I could search for certain Chinese Telex
number of a company. A typical answerback code of a Chinese Telex machine looked like "54321 abc cn"

Next will be to put in the Ethernet card into the system and configurate it.
You will need a connection to a router that supports 10 MBit connections. Often a small switch is needed
to slow it down when your router only supports high speed connections (1 GBit).
Do you have sole (only for you) dedicated IPv4 number? Does not need to be static but should not be
shared and mapped.

But before configuration we need to be clear about your future i-Telex number as explained above.
