Centralex / Teilnehmerserver

Hallo,

die links wie unter tlnserv.teleprinter.net:4885 sind ja mit Anmeldung und Zugang - leider weiß ich nicht woher ich einen Zugang bekommen kann. So wie ich es hier beim verfolgen mitbekomme kann man ja da theoretisch wie bei den Teilnehmerserver "früher" wo alles zugänglich war auch eine Liste anschauen. Leider weiß ich nicht wo ich einen Zugang dafür her bekommen kann.

Das nächste Thema Centralex - ich habe mir ja alles mit Portweiterleitungen und dynamischen DNS Adressen gebaut - in irgend einer Form scheint Centralex auch für IPv6 eine Alternative. Allerdings geht es zwar hier immer wieder darum, aber irgendwie finde ich nicht den Schlüsselbeitrag wo erklärt wird was es genau ist und vor allem nach welchem Prinzip es funktioniert. Auch im Wiki oder dergleichen finde ich nichts. Kann mir da jemand einen Tip geben wo man sich zumindest einlesen kann wie das funktioniert?

Gibt es noch irgendwelche halbgeheimnisvollen Orte wo man herum stöbern müsste um neue Dinge mitzubekommen die sich im Laufe der Zeit im i-telex-Betrieb ergeben oder ist es einfach so dass sie einfach undokumentiert sind weil keiner dazu kommt die zu dokumentieren?

The subscriber server used to have an open front page so that everyone could see the list of conected machines.

There was a problem some months ago with one individual that turned into a serious issue, which has required this once useful resource to no longer be public.

Work goes on behind the scenes with this and it is hoped that there will be a simple solution in the future.

For now the subscriber list for active connections is available on 881188.

Regarding Centralex, it is correct, there is no "Wiki" that fully describes exactly what it does and how it works - it has never been a requirement for those of us that are just happy that this IPV6 issue has been solved.

I-Telex is an open source project of course, and I would say that everything needed with regards technical information is already published, mostly in this forum, but actual formal documentation and revision control is not something that is being managed actively - we are all too busy using the systems

Have fun, and please keep asking questions on the forum - This is the only way we can see if there is an issue that needs in depth explanation.
